Ask anything
I'm BSD's parts counter. Ask me anything about your truck — what fits, what's worth doing, what's overkill.

What’s a core charge?
A core charge is a refundable deposit added to certain rebuildable parts — alternators, starters, injectors, turbos, transmissions, and engine components.
How it works:
You pay the core deposit when you place your order.
After you install the new part, box up your old (broken) part.
Ship the old part back to us.
We refund your core charge once we receive it.
Tips:
You have up to 30 days to return the core.
The old part must be complete and rebuildable (no missing pieces).
Reuse the shipping box the new part came in.
Have questions? Contact us before ordering if you’re unsure about core requirements.
